Google recently announced support for AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages) in Gmail. Within a day, a post by Devin Coldewey appeared at Techcrunch titled AMP for email is a terrible idea. Is it really a terrible idea? I think time will tell.

Nexus 6 with No Encryption

I have been using Nexus 6 ever since I decided to switch to Google Fi and the only phone compatible with Fi service at that time was Nexus 6. I have always complained about the phone’s performance but didn’t have enough incentive to either fix it or replace it. Lately, I have been thinking about replacing my phone with a newer model but after putting in some time looking at other options, I eventually came to the conclusion that it would be a waste, and decided to see if I could improve it.
Umano: The most used app on my phone

Update: Umano has been purchased by Dropbox and subsequently shut down. There is no direct replacement to what Umano was providing but Audible helps me cope with driving or exercise.
I have been using Umano since August 2014 and it is by far the most used app on my phone.
The service allows you to listen to narrated blog posts and articles. It is free to use for a limited time every day and the Premium version costs $3.99 per month.
